(1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this Act, if an employee dies due to conflict while performing the duties assigned by the Government of Nepal, if such employee's term of office is less than twenty years, then the remaining period shall be added to his/her husband or wife for life as per this Act.
(2) A person receiving pension as per sub-section (1) shall not receive family pension or gratuity as per section 53.
(3) If the person receiving pension according to this section marries another person, he will not receive such pension.
(4) When the salary of an existing employee is increased, two-thirds of the increase in the initial salary will be added to the family pension received by the person receiving pension according to this clause.
(5) In case of the death of the person receiving pension according to this section or if he remarries, the amount of such pension shall be received by the minor sons and daughters of the deceased employee as prescribed until they come of age.
